Wedding at Urban Tree Cidery – Projector Used During Ceremony – DJ Cuttlefish

We had the pleasure of going out to a non traditional wedding ceremony and reception at Urban Tree Cidery. Jenny was their assigned DJ and loved every bit of it!

Jen and BJ, announced as Mr. and Mrs. Reeves, told guests to come as they are, had a street taco bar, and incredible attitudes!

When we asked them what kind of music they wanted to hear, they expressed that many genres were in their realm of likability and we quote them saying “Dance and drink – What else does a wedding need?? I suppose vows but we’ll take care of that too : )”

Speaking of vows, they used our included Projector as the backdrop for their ceremony and it was as cool as can be! They also used our Branded Video DJ Facade as a way to personalize the event!

Wedding at Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina – Atlanta DJ Cuttlefish

Morgan and Cody held their spring wedding at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina and chose DJ Cuttlefish to be a part of their ceremony and reception alongside Oh!ccasions and our pals from Far Out Galaxy: Six Hearts Photography and Squid Wed Films. What a dream team.

Day and Jenny were their assigned DJs and lit the party on fire.

Songs like I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness, Roses by Outkast, and several others encouraged involvement and created a sense of community as the dance floor stayed packed all night with sessions of Spin The Bottle, Limbo, Sing A Longs per the Bride’s request, and more.

Atlanta Prom DJ – The Campus – DJ Cuttlefish

The Campus, a private school, reached out to us and our Far Out Galaxy pals, Robot Booth, to be a part of their 2k17 Prom at The Loft at Due South.

The theme was Under The Stars with Gold and Silver as the color palette that we used in our Uplighting.

We incorporated the theme by using our HD Projector for a Custom Full Color Motion Monogram that was displayed on the back wall of the dance floor. It was placed so that the silhouettes dancing hit the bottom of the design where the stars were moving, creating a magical atmosphere that the students were engulfed in.

Q. What’s your current favorite song?

A. What If I Go? – Mura Masa. It’s super catchy and I love the way the music video was edited with stereoscopic GIFs. (Click here to view this music video.)

Q. What song do you think is most popular at events?

A. 24k Magic – Bruno Mars. This song really gets any party going. It’s become super popular. The music video already has over 400 million views. (Click here to view this music video.)

Q. What is the wildest event you’ve DJed?

A. This is a really hard question to answer. I don’t think that I can decide what single event has been the wildest. But some of the wildest parties that I have DJed recently have been corporate parties. I think people that work hard play hard.

Q. What is your favorite part of DJing special events?

A. I love when guest are excited about dancing and having a great time. It feels good to see people enjoy my music selection. I enjoy the collective energy of a full dance floor.
