Classic Meets Modern Mix by Atlanta Wedding DJ – DJ Cuttlefish

Fernbank Museum Event DJ – GA Tech Grad Gala – DJ Cuttlefish

Who doesn’t love partying with the dinos?!

We were so stoked to DJ at Fernbank Museum for GA Tech‘s Graduation Gala with Six Hearts Photography! They brought us out to the dance floor with DJ Albert, karaoke with Angela in the star room and we also had two Robot Booth photo booths staged around the event, with a roaming photographer.

We have a confession. We love the 2000’s – everything about the decade! Pink flip phones, skirts layered over pants, the emergence of sites like MySpace and Facebook, the slang (that’s hot!), the teen movies, and especially the music – which we of course listened to on our iPods!

The Campus, a private school, reached out to us and our Far Out Galaxy pals, Robot Booth, to be a part of their 2k17 Prom at The Loft at Due South.

The theme was Under The Stars with Gold and Silver as the color palette that we used in our Uplighting.

We incorporated the theme by using our HD Projector for a Custom Full Color Motion Monogram that was displayed on the back wall of the dance floor. It was placed so that the silhouettes dancing hit the bottom of the design where the stars were moving, creating a magical atmosphere that the students were engulfed in.
